From page 204: “Joanne Perez, the wife of vaudeville performer Pepito the Spanish Clown, cleaned out underneath her bed and discovered the only existing copy of the pilot for the TV series I Love Lucy. Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball had given it to Pepito as a gift. He guest starred on that episode but put it under his bed, where it stayed for forty years.
