Pepito operated his own deep sea fishing charter boat after he and Joanne retired from “the road” at the outset of World War II. One of his customers was the famous actor, Gary Cooper. Mr. Cooper inscribed this photo “To Pepito, with my kindest regards and thanks — I’m fishin — Gary 1943.”
